FAQ
Do I need to be fit before starting?
Not at all. Most clients come to me with mixed fitness levels, old injuries, or long gaps since they last trained. I meet you where you are and build your strength safely and progressively.
I’m over 50/60 — is your training suitable for me?
Absolutely. I’m 60 myself, and I specialise in training adults who want to stay strong, mobile, and active. Sessions are tailored to your body, your goals, and your pace.
What kind of training do you offer?
I use functional strength tools such as kettlebells, clubbells, macebells, and bodyweight training. These build real‑world strength, joint health, and better movement — without the wear and tear of traditional gym machines.
Will the training hurt my joints?
My approach is joint‑friendly and movement‑focused. We work around old injuries, not through them. You’ll build strength without aggravating problem areas.
How long is a session?
Most sessions are 60 minutes. Your first session is 45 minutes and includes assessment, goal setting, and movement screening.
Do you offer online coaching?
Yes. Online coaching includes a personalised programme, weekly check‑ins, video feedback, and progress tracking — ideal if you prefer training at home or need flexibility.
Can I train with a friend or partner?
Yes. Small‑group sessions (2–4 people) are available and offer a fun, motivating way to train together.
What should I bring to my first session?
Comfortable clothing, water, and an open mind. I’ll guide you through everything else.
How quickly will I see results?
Most clients feel improvements in strength, mobility, and confidence within a few weeks. Long‑term results come from consistency — and I’ll help you stay on track.
Do you offer nutrition advice?
I provide simple, sustainable guidance to support your training, without strict diets or unrealistic rules.
